Youth at First Pres
Welcome to First Presbyterian Church Youth Ministries! We are excited that you chose to check us out on the web! We pray that you will check out some of the things we do during the week. On Sunday mornings at 8:45 am, we gather together where we strive to connect with each other and with God. During this time, we share about ourselves, we laugh together, pray together, study together, eat together, and Connect with God. Come join us!
Sunday afternoon is an amazing time together for our youth! We start the afternoon together with some fun games, designed to build fellowship and faith. Then we spend some time worshipping and studying together. Are you looking for a time of fellowship, fun, worship, service, and growth (don’t forget the great snacks)? If you are, join us every Sunday 6:00pm at the church. Come see how worship is not just a Sunday morning thing, but an everyday, life thing.

Sunday School (September – May)
Sunday morning classes are offered for ages preschool through 6th grade through our Children’s Ministry department. Starting each Sunday at 8:45 a.m., our children get to participate in:
Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarden Class
This class is for children ages 3 through kindergarten. The emphasis is on hearing the stories of the Bible and doing activities which reinforce what they have heard.
First Grade – Sixth Grade
Spark Lectionary is a three-year curriculum, with fall, winter, and spring quarters each year. The lessons correspond to the Revised Common Lectionary–helping children get more out of both worship and Sunday School.
A nursery is provided each Sunday morning. Children are read Bible stories, participate in age appropriate activities, listen to music and are nurtured in a safe, Christian atmosphere.
Early Release Day
Each year the Laramie County School District releases students early (for a half-day). Member parents who pre-register their child can bring them to the church on these days for snacks and activities, so their parents can stay at work, or just so the children can have fun together in a safe, Christian environment.
We offer Children’s Church grades Pre-K – Elementary. Children’s Church takes place during worship specifically during the sermon. Children’s Church is a worship experience focused totally on children and building their understanding of the Bible and promoting a meaningful relationship with God.
Families on the Go (FOG)
Family Ministry is to encourage, equip and strengthen Christ-oriented singles, marriages and families through Christian ministries and Godly community. The mission of the Family Ministry is to support the mission of the church (Matthew 28: 19-20) by reaching out to families and family members inside and outside of the church congregation. Family Ministry seeks to bring family members to wholeness, to intimacy with the Lord and to unity with each other so that each family is a reflection of God’s family for all the world to see.
